New and improved SPSS for Windows® courses

To reflect the enhancements in SPSS for Windows 15.0, we’ve revised, re-titled, and updated the three core introductory SPSS training courses, The Basics: SPSS for Windows, Intermediate Topics: SPSS for Windows, and Statistical Analysis Using SPSS. These three courses give you a foundation for the basic operations, data management, and statistical operations of SPSS for Windows. They also serve as prerequisites for most of the advanced level SPSS courses.

Introduction to SPSS

(Replaces The Basics: SPSS for Windows)

This course guides you through the fundamentals of using SPSS for Windows for the typical data analysis process. It focuses on the basics of reading, defining, and modifying data; performing data analysis; and presenting your results. In addition, you’ll learn about the new features in SPSS 15.0, and discuss new topics and examples.

Data Management and Manipulation with SPSS (Replaces Intermediate Topics: SPSS for Windows)
In this intermediate-level course, you’ll learn to use a wide range of transformation techniques, automate your work, manipulate your data files and results, and send your output to other Windows applications. We’ve added content that highlights the new features of SPSS for Windows 15.0, as well as new topics and examples.

Introduction to Statistical Analysis Using SPSS (Replaces Statistical Analysis Using SPSS)
This application-oriented course introduces the statistical component of SPSS for Windows. You will gain an understanding of when and why to use several basic statistical techniques as well as how to apply them with confidence, interpret their output, and graphically display the results using SPSS. New content includes using Chart Builder to display your results and using SPSS Data Preparation ™ to validate your data. Additional topical material and examples have also been added.
