The Analysis Tools Manager in ShowCase Analyzer 7.01 provides several time-saving methods for working with definitions. For example, you can use it to:

• Simultaneously view all of your analysis definitions, such as calculations and traffic lighting, in an Analyzer report
• Manage multiple definitions from one central location
• Turn your definitions on and off without deleting and recreating them

The Analysis Tools Manager in ShowCase Analyzer 7.01 enables you to do all of this—and more. You can create, edit, and delete definitions, activate only the definitions that you want applied at any given time, and set the order in which to apply those definitions to the report.

To use the Analysis Tools Manager, right-click on a row or column header in your report, point to Analysis Tools, and then to Analysis Tools Manager (see Figure 1 below).

Alternatively, create a new definition by choosing the appropriate option on the Analysis Tools menu. Once created, each definition is shown in the list in the Analysis Tools Manager.

The icons at the top of the Analysis Tools Manager screen (see Figure 2 below) enable you to create new definitions and edit or delete existing definitions. On your Analyzer screen, simply place your mouse cursor over an icon to learn about its function.

To activate or deactivate a definition, simply select the Active option next to the definition. To change the order in which definitions are applied to the report, select a definition, and then use the Up or Down arrow to move the item in the list.

There you have it . . . all of your analysis tools in a central location.
