Predictive Enterprise Services Workshop Modules
The Predictive Enterprise Services curriculum consists of presentation based workshops covering well defined and contained topics. The workshops will be available in both live instructor led training (in person or via the web) and recorded OnDemand formats. The workshops will be supported by documents and exercises which may be completed in the customer environment or an SPSS OnDemand portal. To access the environment and perform the exercises, Predictive Enterprise Manager will need to be installed on the *-attendees’ computers and access to the internet is required.
The modules for the PES education will include the following:
- PES Overview & PEM Tour – an overview of the solution, its architecture and the Predictive Enterprise Manager client application.
- PES Content Management – How to access, create, control, secure and version track objects in the content repository.
- PES Jobs & Scheduling – A description of jobs, job parts, relationships between steps, job creation and job scheduling. How to run jobs manually and via schedule. How to monitor job history. How to create and customize notifications.
- PES – Predictive Enterprise View – An overview of the Enterprise View and its accompanying parts: Application Views and Data Provider Definitions. How to create the Enterprise View, Application Views and DPDs. How to manage and create Resource Definitions including Data Sources and Credentials.
- PES & SPSS – How SPSS interacts with Predictive Enterprise Services for storing, retrieving and controlling SPSS assets and artifacts. How to create and run SPSS jobs and manage SPSS output from within the Predictive Enterprise Manager.
Each OnDemand course is offered at $175 per person. When delivered onsite, the courses are scheduled as part of the daily fee of $2,500.00 plus expenses for up to 9 persons. An incremental charge will be applied when a session exceeds 9.
