It’s been an exciting few months. Our Executive Briefing in March was a great success. We teamed up with the Irish Management Institute to enable them to analyse the feedback from their seminar using our online survey capabilities.  This week we are attending our Directions conference which is taking place in Athens from 12-15 May.

This time last year Tom Davenport gave a talk on analytics - the new science of winning, at the SPSS User Conference in Prague. Irish attendees challenged Davenport on his application of US business logic in Europe without taking due consideration of the fundamental difference governing data privacy.

 I hope that all delegates travelling to Athens this year will carry on the tradition and ensure that this year’s speaker Ian Ayers does not get away with anything! Ian will discuss the impact that predictive techniques will have on our lives and on the traditional decision-makers who rely on experience and intuition.
