What's new in SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys 1.5?
Answer
SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys 1.5 has several new data management and visualization features. Here are just a few:
- If you work with the Dimensions Data Model™, you can now import your data
- You can now save extraction results, so you won't have to re-extract the terms each time you reopen a file
- You can now reuse existing code frames—add, delete, and edit category codes directly in the Code Frame Manager (see Figure 1 below) accessible from the Tools menu

- Refine categories and responses with new visualizations. The visualization pane (see Figure 2 below) is hidden by default, but you can access it from the View menu. The pane offers three perspectives on the commonalities in response categorization. You can use the charts and graphs in this pane to analyze categorization results and fine-tune categories or reporting.
