Clementine® 9.0: Using the new SPSS Model Manager™

What features does the new SPSS Model Manager™ in Clementine® 9.0 provide?

Answer

SPSS Model Manager, a new component of Clementine, improves the management of Clementine predictive models. Models are created in the Clementine application and stored in the SPSS Model Manager server.

Clementine 9.0 supports the publishing and sharing of objects—including streams, models, and output files (*.cou)—through SPSS Model Manager. Objects are stored in a central repository, where they can be shared with other applications and tracked using extended versioning, metadata, and search capabilities.

Specify the login options as desired (see Figure 1). Settings are specific to each site or installation. System administrators can configure SPSS Model Manager to enable multiple users to work with the models. Capabilities include establishing access privileges, configuring the system, creating folders, setting security permissions, and modifying properties for users.

For example, if you create a CAT stream and store it in SPSS Model Manager, and then later update the stream, you can add the updated stream to SPSS Model Manager without overwriting the previous version.
