Statistical Methods 3a: Logistic Regression
Course Description
This one-day course provides advanced training for those who have attended
either “Statistical Methods 2a: Correlation and Regression” or “Statistical
Methods for Health Care Research”. In this session you will build on your
knowledge of Linear Regression and be introduced to Logistic Regression
(available in IBM® SPSS® Regression Module*). We will include categorical
predictors in Regression models via dummy variables, discuss variable
selection methods, model building philosophies and learn how to run and
interpret Logistic Regression in IBM SPSS Statistics*.
