Training as a long-term investment strategy

When you purchase a software solution, appropriate training helps you maximize the value of your investment. At the beginning of a new project, for example, most organizations will identify their performance goals and then launch a training initiative to help employees to develop the requisite skills and knowledge.

However, software solutions don’t run themselves. Over the life cycle of every project or solution, there are changes in technologies, business issues, and people. Your staff will need to refresh their training from time to time so that they remain knowledgeable about new tools and techniques to help use your data to meet business challenges.

With SPSS, you can determine which training courses best meet your needs and which training methods work well for you. These options are available at the time of your initial purchase and we suggest that you continue to use them as long as you own SPSS software. Here are a few to consider:

• Choosing the right skill path
For information on where to start, take a look at the Training Course Maps, which link performance to courses that will help you develop the right skills.

• Choosing the right location
Take a look at the training schedule and determine which city offers the class that you need.

• Choosing the right method
You can select from a variety of training methods: public courses at our training centers, on-site training at your office, individual instruction, or live and recorded e-learning options.

If you require a more customized approach, please send an e-mail to trainingsales@spss.com and we will contact you to discuss it. We’ll design a training program that delivers what you need, when you need it.
