What's New in Quancept CATI 7.9
SPSS Inc. continues its commitment to the market research industry, and telephone research in particular, with the release of Quancept CATI 7.9.
In this release, you will find:
- Support for Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 3.0—use this popular operating system software with Quancept CATI
- Enhancements for mrDialer*—if you use mrDialer with Quancept CATI, you will be able to:
- Record entire interviews—not just selected parts—to most accurately capture responses. You can monitor interviews from any phone or station, remotely and on-site. All of this helps you with quality control, training, and other interviewing monitoring.
- Use interviewer qualification with automated dialing. For example, if you have interviewers who speak Spanish or French, mrDialer will automatically dial the samples for interviews that need to be conducted in Spanish or French at their stations.
- View real-time dialing performance statistics and trunk status through the supervisor menu. You can run reports remotely so that supervisors don’t have to be in the same location as the interviewers they are monitoring. Additionally, supervisors can identify which stations are being monitored to avoid duplication of efforts.
- Expansion or elimination of limits within the software—limits to the number of cards and data series numbers have been expanded. Database questions no longer have a limit
- Create longer, richer surveys more easily now that card and column limits have been removed. You no longer have to create sub-surveys as a "work-around" solution. And, if you use analytic software such as Quantum™ and SPSS that reads card column formats, your data will easily be read into the software.
- Serial numbers are not limited in Quancept CATI 7.9. This enables you to allow larger samples, design samples that are more logically spread across multiple sites, and have more flexibility with tracking studies.
- Enhancements to the translation options—easily translate your questionnaires using a variety of translation tools, including Quanquest™, mrTranslate™, and the Qolyglot utility
- Additional bug fixes—a number of bug fixes and general improvements to make your Quancept CATI call center even more productive have been made in this release. These include:
- Enhancements to ensure optimized running of Quota counting and management
- Improved supervisor menus to enable better management of projects
- Enhancements to take daylight savings time into account for call appointments
- Enhancements to provide better performance for the most commonly used standard market algorithm
